Close to 90 Flights Associated to Epstein Reportedly Came to or from UK Airports
A review has uncovered that nearly 90 aircraft journeys linked to Jeffrey Epstein allegedly arrived at and departed from British airfields, with some allegedly transporting British women who assert they were victimized by the found guilty child sex offender.
Aviation Records Show Trail of Movement
These aviation records were among thousands of court documents and papers released by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been released over the last year. The analysis found 87 flights connected to Epstein – including many that were not previously known – coming into or leaving from British airfields between the start of the 1990s and 2018.
Passenger Details and Post-Conviction Travel
Unidentified “females” were documented among the travelers flying to and from the UK. Significantly, 15 of these UK flights happened subsequent to Epstein’s 2008 conviction for soliciting sex from a minor.
“It was ‘shocking’ that there had never been a ‘comprehensive British inquiry’ into his activities in the country,” said American attorneys acting for hundreds of Epstein survivors.
British Victims and Court Cases
Testimony from one of the British victims aided the conviction of Epstein’s accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. But, that survivor has never been contacted by police in the UK, as stated by her Florida-based lawyer.
In a response, the the Met said they had “not been provided with any additional evidence that would support restarting the inquiry.” They added, “Should new and relevant information be brought to our attention, encompassing any resulting from the disclosure of material in the US, we will review it.”
Ongoing Document Release and Legal Rulings
A bill to make public all files held by the US government in concerning Epstein passed the US Congress last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to follow through. Hundreds of thousands of documents are anticipated to be released.
In a related development, a US judge ordered last week that the DOJ could publicly release investigative materials from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epstein’s long-term associate, who is serving a 20-year jail term over the allegations.
