Jet Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Land in UK Due to Fracture in Windshield

A jet ferrying Pete Hegseth was forced to make an emergency landing in the UK on Wednesday due to a fissure was found in the plane's windshield, as stated by an official statement which confirmed that Hegseth was safe.

"The jet touched down following standard protocol and everyone onboard, including Secretary Hegseth, is safe," a press officer said in a social media post.

The secretary was coming back from a brief trip to Brussels when the incident occurred.

This occurrence does not mark the initial instance that a United States armed forces jet carrying a top government figure has experienced equipment failures.

Months ago, a United States Air Force aircraft ferrying the US Secretary of State to Munich was forced to return to Washington DC after encountering a technical issue.
