Three Lions Squad Revealed: Jude and Foden Omitted, Bukayo Makes Comeback
Thomas Tuchel has opted to stick with the same England squad that triumphed against their previous opponents and delivered an impressive performance in Belgrade during the previous international break, leaving no room for Jude Bellingham and the Manchester City attacker in his selection for the forthcoming friendly against Wales and the qualifying match in the Baltic nation.
Although Foden pushing for a recall after rediscovering his form at his club, and Jude Bellingham having made a comeback for his Spanish club following a surgical procedure, the national team manager has decided against including two of the nation's most prominent offensive stars. Bellingham has been in the starting lineup only once for his club since his return.
The England boss has made room for Bukayo Saka, who is fully recovered and has been restored in place of his injured club colleague Noni Madueke. The experienced attacker has not received a return to the squad.

The national team coach highlighted the vibrancy in last month's squad and appears determined to keeping the same atmosphere. The Newcastle defender, who started at left-back in the 5-0 win in Belgrade, has been ruled out due to a knock. Tuchel has not called up a direct replacement for the Newcastle player but has included the Manchester City defender, who had to withdraw previously. Tuchel has discussed the Manchester City defender's significance for England and has floated the idea of using him in midfield.
There is no place for Adam Wharton, who was selected in the previous squad but pulled out due to injury and was replaced by the Milan player.
Tuchel said: “A mere three weeks after the previous gathering and the most recent victory, the latest display, so the question was why not select the same group in because they set the standard. The focus now is on creating habits out of it. We have regrettably two injuries at the moment with Tino and Noni and we welcome of course the Arsenal forward in to replace Noni. Jarell Quansah was a late call-up last time; he will remain with the squad.”
